The Corkeen system was installed in a new playground in Plaza República de El Salvador Case StudiesUrbanplay, our Brand Master from Chile, implemented our innovative retained fall protection system in a beautiful playground in Plaza República de El Salvador, in Vitacura (Chile).
The Corkeen surface, produced with 100% natural cork granules, was perfectly integrated into the play space, composed of wooden play equipment.
Children can now play happily and freely in a marvellous recreational area surrounded by nature. This urban zone has leafy trees and gardens with pretty flowers.
Our eco-friendly solution was chosen due to its proven features. It provides unparalleled cushioning and impact absorption, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable playing environment.
Besides being more sustainable than conventional floor solutions, it is socially inclusive, providing full accessibility, even for a wheelchair or other mobility equipment.
With this project, which included organic raw materials and a natural aesthetic, the municipality of Vitacura aimed to answer to its environmental sustainability compromise in public spaces.

Applied solution
The Corkeen system was installed in situ by Urbanplay, our Brand Master for the Chilean market. The solution was applied in two layers: a shock-absorbing base layer and a top layer resistant to wear and tear.
Developed and produced by rigorous safety standards (EN1176 and EN1177), the Corkeen system offers state-of-the-art technical performance and maximum safety for children. It is supplied with a 5-year guarantee.
