Commissioned by the City of Bergen (Bergen Kommune), this project reimagines a public area as a lively destination for families: a place where everyday routines give way to moments of discovery, energy, and connection.
Our innovative cork-based surface, spanning 411 m², was designed to withstand constant activity while remaining visually in tune with its surroundings.
The Corkeen system was carefully installed by Sandvik Play, our exclusive Brand Master for the Norwegian market, combining expert craftsmanship with maximum performance.
Its cork-based composition provides exceptional impact absorption, protecting children during falls. The natural cellular structure of this material, which forms the core of our surface, ensures comfort underfoot on sunny afternoons, while its efficient drainage prevents water accumulation on rainy days.
